The story of Mama Habiba Foundation begins with a deeply personal act of remembrance and generosity. Rather than allowing Mama Habiba’s home to remain only a family memory, her children, grandchildren and close relatives gave it a continuing purpose: a place where worship, learning and compassion could serve others. From that beginning, the endowed home became the foundation for a wider mission of education and community care.
After Mama Habiba passed away, her children endowed her home for Allah’s sake so it could benefit the community. That home became the beginning of Mama Habiba Foundation.
The origin of Mama Habiba FoundationMama Habiba’s home was endowed as ongoing charity so its benefit could continue serving the community.
A mosque and classrooms were built on the site, where students learn the Qur’an and Islamic sciences.
